SilkMeter has been designed to detect date changes for time-bound policies and this error indicates that the system date on the SilkMeter license server has been set back. The mechanism is used to protect our Software revenue and has been designed to be non-reversible. Policies with no time limitations will ignore any kind of date changes.
If the time setback involves only a few days, waiting to the date where the time was set forward to may be an option. If that is not possible you will need to contact Support to request that a new license be issued.
The mechanism only works on date, not on time so setting back the clock, but leaving it within the same day, will not affect licensing.
