If your Keyword Driven Tests are not displaying in the Silk4Net "Test Explorer" window, can you ensure that the SilkTest.Ntf.VisualStudio<Version>.DataCollector.dll is copied to the Private assemblies folder of your Visual Studio install. See steps below:-

  • For Visual Studio 2012, copy the file <Silk Test installation directory>\ng\NTF\ SilkTest.Ntf.VisualStudio2012.DataCollector.dll to the folder \Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies\DataCollectors\ in the Visual Studio installation directory.
  • For Visual Studio 2013, copy the file <Silk Test installation directory>\ng\NTF\ SilkTest.Ntf.VisualStudio2013.DataCollector.dll to the folder \Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies\DataCollectors\ in the Visual Studio installation directory.
  • For Visual Studio 2015, copy the file <Silk Test installation directory>\ng\NTF\ SilkTest.Ntf.VisualStudio2015.DataCollector.dll to the folder \Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies\DataCollectors\ in the Visual Studio installation directory.
  • For Visual Studio 2017, copy the file <Silk Test installation directory>\ng\NTF\ SilkTest.Ntf.VisualStudio2017.DataCollector.dll to the folder \Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies\DataCollectors\ in the Visual Studio installation directory.
