When capturing an image asset there may be occasions where the image captured by Silk Test does not match the area highlighted during the capture phase. Consider the following scenario:-
You may find that the image asset has been captured correctly.
But the image that is saved is skewed and off set.
The problem of a skewed and off set image asset is encountered when the browser profile you are using is not set to the default zoom (100%). Altering the zoom level may vary slightly between browsers but you can generally follow the steps below.
• Navigate to the settings tab which can usually be found in the top right hand corner.
• Open the setting tab and navigate to the zoom configuration.
• Ensure that the zoom setting is set to 100%.
The zoom setting must always be set to 100% to ensure all image assets are saved correctly.
